Chevrolet Chevelle SS 454 Coloring Page

1970 United States Easy — big open shapes

The 1970 Chevelle SS with the 454 big-block is one of the high-water marks of the American muscle era, before insurance costs and emissions rules ended it. The twin bonnet stripes and the cowl-induction hood that opens at the rear are its signatures. The LS6 version was rated at 450 horsepower from the factory, the highest figure Chevrolet published for any muscle car of the period. Its bonnet pins, cowl-induction scoop and twin stripes were the visual shorthand for the SS package.
